Hey Kic Squad, we’ve got something new for you… Introducing guided runs, in our brand NEW run hub!
Guided runs are made for you if you love a once off jog, you’re not quite ready to take on an 8-week KICRUN program or you’re craving an extra run challenge throughout your week. With distance, interval or time-based runs, there’s something for all runners. Plus, what makes them extra special is the dedicated feel-good affirmation to help you overcome self-doubt and run your way with confidence.
If you’re thinking about trying a guided run… Trust me, you won’t regret it.
Here’s 4 reasons why I love our guided Kic runs…
1. I’ll be honest, running’s not my favourite way to exercise
When we first launched our 0-5km KICRUN program, I was so keen to jump on board and give it a go. I never used to love running and I never considered my self a ‘runner’ but KICRUN helped me build my confidence up to running 5km, non-stop! But in all honesty, running still isn’t my preferred type of movement. I absolutely love tuning into my body and moving the way I feel like. I love my strength training and pilates – and so trying to balance a run program on top of that is just too much to commit to in my routine. But I’ll often have random bursts of energy and feel super motivated to go for a run, so our one-off guided runs are absolutely perfect for me!
2. They’re the ultimate mood-booster
Laura’s guided runs are filled with feel-good affirmations to help you overcome self-doubt and run your way with confidence. Just like the KICRUN program, she’s in your ears, guiding you along the way, so I’m literally running with my best friend, and you can too!
3. I can find time-based runs to fit with me
Working and mum life can be super busy, especially with Harvey’s morning routine being so different at the moment. I’ve been loving the time-based guided runs because I know exactly what I’m in for. Whether I have 15 mins or 30, I can find a run that fits with me that day.
4. And when I do have time, I can challenge myself
When I have a bit more time on the weekends, I’ve been trying our distance based runs. I love a good 3km run – it’s a great way to get out and moving! The extra motivation with Laura has really helped my mindset. Usually I want to give up after the first kilometre, but hearing Laura’s feel-good affirmations keeps me going until that timer stops. She also encourages you to mix up your pace in the distance based runs, and comes back into your ears to remind you – so it keeps it interesting!
So, whether you feel like running for 10 minutes or 10kms, Laura will be with you every step of the way. If you’re like me and love the once off run, or just need more flexibility in your routine with some motivation, our guided runs are for you.
Love,

Before starting KICRUN, Keely never saw herself as a runner, let alone actually enjoy running! However, despite a recent autoimmune diagnosis, having the motivation to start running has helped her journey towards proving to herself SHE IS a runner.
As you start to fall in love with running (believe it or not) you might be tempted to pound the pavement every single workout! But… When planning out your week it’s so important to include workouts that will complement all your hard work.
